is_geojson(x)

Arguments

x

A character vector.

Value

Logical vector; TRUE for a JSON object carrying a GeoJSON "type" (Point, Polygon, Feature, FeatureCollection, ...) together with a "coordinates", "geometry", "geometries", or "features" member. Structural (regex) check, not a full JSON parse.
